Ans- soil conservation- The protection of soil is called soil conservation.

Two methods of soil conservation are as follow:-

  1. Constructions of dam:- floods causes a great loss to the topmost layer of the soil. hence, dams and embankments should be built along river banks

  2. Terrace farming:- on hill slopes farming is done by cutting the slope into steps or terrace. this reduces slopes length and reduce energy of water. Also, roots hold the top soil thus reducing erosion.

  3. Bedrock-.  It is a non- porous layer of soil and It is just below the subsoil.

Every sentence has two parts the subject and predicate Subject The first part of a sentence usually name some person or thing it is called subject it describes the person or thing that performs and action.
