Small words that are used to express the emotions of a speaker are called interjections.





Read the sentences given below:-

1) Hurrah! We have won the match.
2) Alas! He died of dengue
3) bravo! That was a wonderful shot.



when a word express a sudden feeling of joy fun, grief, sorrow, excitement shock praise etc. it is called interjections.


How ! Rude he can be!
What! You ate all the food
Bravo! You played well.
Wow! It's an amazing place.


Some other interjections are ah! Oh! well done! how awful! Etc
